Introduction
Direct Thermal Printing burns an image directly onto the label and works similarly to a traditional fax machine with heat sensitive paper. With direct thermal printing, the image deteriorates over time, especially in sunlight or high-temperature environments (e.g. unairconditioned warehouses), but does not require a ribbon.
